The website was created to support the personal brand of a practicing surgeon, lymphologist, phlebologist
Vein diseases are very common diseases in the world, with chronic venous disease affecting approximately 30% of adults worldwide, representing almost 2.2 billion people.
Women suffer from pathological varicose veins more often than men. According to statistics, venous diseases (in one form or another) occur in 40% of women and 10-20% of men.
The huge problem is that people often go to doctors with vein diseases at late stages, which significantly elongates the duration of treatment.
That's why Marina decided to start a website where she collected detailed information about the most common vein’s diseases

Overview
Researching and understanding the problem
Marina contacted me to order a landing page for the development of her personal brand and at the same time with the goal of telling more about venous diseases.
Actually, cardiovascular diseases affect a large part of humanity nowadays, and often problems can be avoided by using preventive measures or detecting the disease at an early stage
Target Audience
Understanding target audience and creating an average user profile
To determine the target audience of this site, it was decided to rely on medical research data and identify common patterns.
Marina kindly collected statistics from her subscribers on social networks and provided the data, of course, in an anonymous form.
Taking everything together, we received confirmation of the hypothesis that our key audience is women over 40 years old.
They spend most of their time at sedentary work and have a little free time for healthcare and often lack of physical activity.
Visual Identity
The visual style emphasizes simplicity and places emphasis where it is needed. The blue colour as an accent was not chosen by chance, because the ribbon for Lymphedema Awareness Day is blue and is associated with veins

Website Design
Both mobile and desktop pages
Having better known the target audience, I proposed a minimalist website design with clearly structured information blocks, high contrast and a minimum of decorative elements.
It is obvious that more and more people use mobile devices most often. Therefore, for me as a designer it was important to create a mobile version as convenient as the desktop one.
